Nothing to See Here

Goodest of mornings!  Let’s have a quick blog post, shall we?

Next week’s podcast features our conversation with touring comic Alvin Williams.  Alvin was storming through Arizona last week, from Show Low to Tucson, Phoenix to Tempe and Scottsdale, and we were fortunate enough to have him headline at Monkey Pants before sitting down with us and dropping some excellent knowledge on the S&M Comedy Podcast.  We prepped him a bit before, saying that we were a comedy interview podcast, and that we wanted to get some info about “the next level” of being a touring comic, developing a fan base and learning how to promote, and he knocked it out of the park.  Alvin took this assignment seriously, and we’ll be really excited next Wednesday when we get to share this podcast with you.

Upcoming shows for us:  Both Jamie & Steve will be headed to Sedona to do two shows at the Olde Sedona Grill on 6/30.  Come up, get out of the heat, and soak in rejuvenating pools of PHX Comedy in the shadows of giant red sandstone obelisks!

This Thursday at Monkey Pants, the champagne corks will pop as we celebrate Charlie Speez’ Two Year Comedy Anniversary with a hoary throng of raucous drunken revelers including Tom Sims, Chris Centanni, Teddy Bearskovich, John Connell, Steve Maxwell, John Henry, Keith Wilson and Tucsonites Ali Musa, Glendon McGee, and Josiah Osego!  Seriously, this anniversary party will be a roiling boil; it’s an absolute certainty that someone’s gettin’ pregnant tonight.
